Structural Integration ~ Bodywork

helping others create a body & life in alignment & balance

Carol K Walradt BS, LMP

SI Session Sequence:
Session 1
Frees the tissue surrounding the rib cage and lengthens the front line of the chest resulting in feelings of lightness and well-being, a more upright posture and fuller deeper breathing.
Session 2
Focus on the body’s foundation (the lower legs and feet) and brings a sense of being firmly grounded and in touch with reality.
Session 3
Lengthens the sides of the body and frees the shoulders so breathing can expand for greater relaxation and more immediate available energy.
Sessions 4, 5 & 6
Adjusts and lengthens the centerline, or core, that runs vertically through the body. After the sessions, walking takes a fraction of the energy typically expended and is experienced as improved balance and freedom of movement.
Session 7
Releases the connective tissue that supports the neck, face and head, resulting a more softened relaxed appearance in the face with increased balance of the head over the spine and pelvis. Most clients report an increased sense of self-reliance after having received this session.
Sessions 8 & 9
Integrates the upper and lower body in a new and more efficient manner, allowing for the unrestricted flow of movement between the feet and the head.
Session 10
Releases and integrates the myofascial wrappings of the arms.
Session 11
The final session integrates the joints within the newly rebalanced fascial network. Energy and vitality increases as the body’s structure becomes more aligned and balanced in gravity.

The Structural Integration ~ Session Series consists of 11 individual sessions.  Each session builds on the other working the connective tissue progressively deeper to release specific layers of connective tissue.  This process of accessing, rebalancing, and integrating the connective tissue, brings the entire body back into a more aligned and relaxed state.  A body that is more balanced and more aligned in gravity is healthier and more resistant to disease and injury.

A Treatment Session is designed to address specific issues, pain syndromes, whether chronic or acute, with the goal of eliminating the problem area, as the body is balanced and integrated in the session.

A Stand Alone Session is an individual session where clients are not committed to the 11 session series process.  Treatment Sessions can be stand alone sessions.
